Hi Pearl Abyss, here is my full feedback to the blue screen error while world bosses.

First my Setup:

PS4 Pro, with default 1TB HDD (intern) and 1TB SSD extern (Samsung SSD T5), Black Desert Online (EU digital) is on the SSD installed, DualShock4 PS4 controller, Pearl Outfits (Yes).

What Bug/Error?

Standard crypted error code: CE-34878-0

A blue screen appears with the error message and close the application and may send the error crypted to the devs.

How to reproduce/recreate the Bug/Error? :

First need to be clear there is a big factor which is required to got this to work.

You need a world boss to a decent time where 50+ Player's are on it. 

Now you have several options to get a blue screen:

1st You used one or both of following functions "character optimization " and "hide other adventurers" before/while you are at/near the world boss. Now while over 50 Player's are at the same spot and fighting the "player optimization" and "hide other adventurers" will set itself to "ON" by default that means it doesn't matter if you have it on or not it will just blend out other characters, if the world boss is defeated it will itself turn "OFF". When you use one or both functions how I described it, you can get mostly a blue screen because the system seems to have trouble to handle it correctly by switching it ON/OFF. 

2nd You are late or join to a mid battle against a world boss and got a blue screen by just "arriving", that happened to my ranger while I used "speed plus skill" (Press L1 + L2) and dashed (R2) to a world boss (in that case Kzarka). It seems that I was to "quick" and the loading and set ON/OFF of "character optimization/hide other adventurers" didn't work properly.

3rd you are asynchronous with the current game, like the game loaded fast and you can attack the world boss already / attack him earlier then others or the world boss is still survive but he should be already dead, that cause you to get the blue screen too.

There are of course more methods to recreate this error.

Special Information's

This Bug/Error appears/happens mostly at Kzarka and Karanda. My theory: There are the most player on it that's why it mostly happens on Karanda / Kzarka.

It seems to be some kind of "Memory / Performance" issue, because the most Crash report's I watched are very similar to my experiences.

How to prevent this Error/Bug? 

1st Don't use the "character optimization" or "hide other adventurers" function, it will turn itself ON when it's needed even it's run very poorly (very low FPS).

2nd if you are using a SSD with a PS4 pro  (you can of course as a standard PS4 too) you can also try the world boss on server's with lower player counts, the optimization will not itself turn on (like only 40 people on world boss) and you can still fight the world without much lagging. 

3rd Let the world boss first finish his first animation so he is fully loaded into the game (you can see it on the health bar of the world boss) just to prevent asynchronous.

4th try not to use attacks with overloaded effect's that eats a lot of frames (by Ranger: Wrath of Earth for an example).

5th don't spawn to close to the world boss, that can causes crashes too.

When I follow the hints mostly I don't get the Error anymore, maybe it works for you too but I can't promise it.

Thanks for the suggestions, been getting a lot of these screen also after i invested in an SSD for my ps4 pro. The "optimizations" they put in place really messed up a lot of stuff it seems, and months of losing latent auras is starting to get on my nerve, hope some of the suggestions you posted will help :D or hope they will fix these BSODS soon ( or atleast give an ETA, so we can dodge bosses till then ).

I'm tired about this... The blue screen appears not only at the Boss Battle but all the time. And every time I disconnect due to this, when I loggin again, the loot has vanished. The Hide People Function doesnt work properly and I'm startingt to feel dissapointed.

Those are good details ... HOWEVER ... both myself and many of my guildies frequently experience blue screens at kzarka and karanda.  We're all PS4, but beyond that we have quite a variety in our systems.  My own system for example is a plain vanilla PS4 with an external 4TB HD.  I concede that hardware can always be a factor, and it is good to provide these details, but I think in this particular case the blue screening is fairly hardware-agnostic.

Note: I'm not suggesting that the blue screening is limited to just the Kzarka  and Karanda bosses, it is merely that our group hasn't been doing the other bosses enough to have any significant data about those.

One other minor data point:  as an experiment, I started making a point of restarting BDO from scratch shortly before going to any boss fight for a while -- in case the root cause might have been some form of resource leak.  This DID NOT help.  This does not prove anything in particular, I just mention it to point that I have been paying attention for a long time to stability of my game versus how long it has been running, and I have not seen any correlation.  Neither for blue screens at boss fights nor  the occasional blue screens I get just doing other stuff. BDO has a number of problems, but I've not seen any evidence that gradual resource leakage is one of them.

How has the experience been since the last patch? Was hoping some of the things we have been working on helped ??

This issue is not fixed. Its actually worse I think. I blue screen at random times, for instance, last night I left my ps4 on and my character riding a horse in a loop in velia. Came back today to a blue screen that apparently happened about an hour after I went afk. This has happened relentlessly for a while now. Using an afk dummy scroll is a lost cause because of this, not to mention afk crafting. In-game family name is "Headtaker". Ps4 Pro, with WD 500g SSD. only things installed on ssd are BDO and ps4 software. All other games run on my 4tb external.

Honestly, the saddest part is that this still happens constantly especially at Karanda.
The Dev team at Pearl Abyss really need to step it up, because as of right now? All of these continual technical issues on the Console version of Black Desert Online are simply starting to look like a pre-PS5/XboxS-X cash grab.

If it is to be this much of an issue a year after release, especially when I have both a PS4 Pro and an Samsung 860 EVO SSD?
(Which, by the way I want to include is about the best SSD you can get on the market for a PS4.) Then maybe PA should consider taking that literal billions of dollars they make quarterly off of their gamers and put it towards hiring a larger or perhaps better Dev Team. I'm sure I speak for a lot of players when I say it's quite upsetting to know just how much Pearl Abyss makes when there are still a launrdy list of technical issues.  Just my personal and honest opinion on this matter now.
