Hello! As a Veteran Adventurer in the wonderful world of Black Desert Online for console, I would love to offer some tips!

If you ever get stuck on a questline or a summon boss, first and foremost,  don't be afraid to ask for help in server chat. While some players will make rude or snarky comments, there are a lot of us who are willing to help! I myself have helped 100+ players with their quests over the last several months.

Need tips on enhancing? We vets got you covered there too! How about lifeskilling for profit? Yep! (Lifeskiller here actually)

There are loads of guides online that help you with questlines as well.

One tip I offer every new player in my guild is DO NOT TOUCH KAMASYLVIA UNTIL YOU HIT 60! Doing so will result in a long, arduous grind to 61 followed by an even worse grind to 62+. Between Dreighan and Kama quests, you can hit 61 easy peasy! 

If you choose to grind out your levels from 56-60, I highly recommend Des Nagas or Des Fogans. The AP requirements are achievable with the quest gear in most cases and they drop Pila Fe scrolls as well as some other decent loot that can be sold for a profit, or, fed to your fairy once you acquire her. If you do grind in these locations,  avoid the gatekeepers at all costs. Even 550 gs players cannot kill them easily. They are recommended for groups for a reason!

If you ask in server chat whats the best way to level up and someone says Altar Imps or Grass Beatles, they're trolling you. If nobody tells you any tips in server, someone might Whisper you with some. So, be aware of all chat areas!

When you do Bartali adventure logs,  there is a part that requires you to answer in general chat. Same thing with the Kama quests. Please. If you forget this and people tell you general chat, theyre reminding you to switch chat windows. Nothing is more annoying than seeing 12 spammed in chat followed by general for 5 minutes or more because someone can't get the hint. 

Also, there are some toxic players on every server. Remember,  not everyone is toxic. If someone pk's you while you are traveling and another player sees, rest assured the killer has been dealt with.

Finally,  get a guild. There are tons of them out there. Some with outrageous requirements, others with none other than have fun and possibly join their discord to make communication easier between xplay players. Guilds can help you grow as a player. They encourage you and offer advice. They will congratulate you on boss boxes or an enhancement that you've achieved. There will be new adventurers as well as long time players such as myself. Each player will be able to better assist you on quests, enhancements, lifeskill tips, etc. Don't be afraid to answer thos recruitment ads!
