People are probably sick of seeing this same old complaint, regardless my target audience ain't them but PA, whether this reaches them or not , as long as it resonates with other players that's all that matters to me.

So the nerfs to Sages and Novas reached consoles today. And I know the impressions towards Sage have always been on two ends of the spectrum: on one hand you have people who never play the class complain about how easy and broken the class is just because they can't one shot Sages with their grabs, and on the other hand you probably have a bunch of meta chasers who are unhappy that they have to reroll again, and somewhere in between you have a handful who just simply enjoy the concept of the class and want something unique to the class they like to claim for their own, and it seems PA takes into consideration the feedback of the first group because well, quantity over quality in this case.

I knew the issue was surrounding the PvP and RBF aspect for Sages, but honestly all they had to do was tweak the damage output in those aspects etc. The first few nerfs applied where you couldn't spam his iframe back to back was necessary and something I could agree, but to remove it completely? Why? Just because the majority of the people, who don't even know that to do that effectively you would need to put a strain your fingers and wrist in the process, got together and complained about an invisible iframe dash they couldn't time their grab one shot combo on? But let's have Sorc keep her iframes. Doesn't Hashashin, a class with pretty decent AOE damage and whose succession is pretty viable for PvP, have an invisible iframe dash too? But it makes sense to nerf the Sage instead just because he's (relatively a) newer class?

Yet, if (correct me if I'm wrong) the reason why PA wanted to rework the old classes was just so they could keep up with the new classes, was it necessary to nerf the Sage and Nova like that? Because I am fairly certain Sorcs, Hashashins, Ninjas and Kunos can still overwhlem a Sage in PvP, and no matter how 'broken' people claim the Sage to be, it may still take a but more effort to overwhelm them, the same way it takes a fair bit effort to actually perform all those "broken" moves with a Sage. The only time you would ever overwhelm another player as a Sage is when you are against players who aren't that skilled. The whole "class rebalancing" attempt seems ironic to me. I won't be surprised if Sorc gets a grab in her rework, then be prepared to see all the meta chasers reroll to a Sorc.

It doesn't make sense to remove Sage's iframes when other classes who can rival the Sage get to keep theirs. A more sensible and viable nerf while still making the class unique and set it part from other classes would be to make it in such a way where you would need to do more to be able to 'spam' their iframes/incur more stamina if 'Bolt' is on cooldown (high risk high reward) instead of removing those iframes completely, or reduce the number of hits/scale the damage in large scale PvP so people won't abuse him for specific modes.

TLDR: PA, just because majority of the playerbase provides feedback towards a class doesn't mean it's the most valid of feedbacks, especially when they didn't come from Sage mains themselves, the ones who aren't meta chasers at least.
