If it wasn't going to be a universal update then it shouldn't have been made to look that way.

I asked the same, it is not very nice to give us not even notes when we get the season.  of course perl items, but nothing else.... That Drakania & the new area would come later, was clear. We got at least Odyllita last week. But why no new season ??? Thats a gigantic unneccessary drawback for console players.

The new season won't start till i'm thinking ether may or june, spring season event or the summer season which will then fall in line with the fall season in sept season but that's just my theory. As for the area it's going to be sometime due to the limited abilities of the old gens, but as for the new toon i can see the isuue if her story is in the new area so it may be like the gwd and be another year or longer.
