I played bdo since launch on pc but with switching to xbox i kinda wanna main a sorc any sorc mains got any tips for a noob who wants to learn the class?

I've found on xbox switching your secondary attack to LB really helps, that way you don't have to hold RB and RT at the same time, makes canceling it easier. Also hitting RT to consume shards of darkness seems more fluid. There is a lot of advantages tbh, haven't seen it get it the way of anything yet.

Also a general rule, make good use of your I-frames with your teleports.

The best suggestion i give to transitioning players is to view skill demos and see what flows to you. Once u become more famalier, as the above reply says, change hot keys to what feels more natural

Learn to animation cancel, find out which skills combo into which to remove animations this is a HUGE part of sorceress game play. I'll get a video up once I have footage from the live Xbox servers unless there's demand for it in which case I'm happy to throw up a PC combos video the bindings will be different however the skills will remain the same.

Also plan to be streaming from the second servers go up for most of the 72 hours, definitely the first 24 I'll be off work and rested  so if you're not playing in the earliest head start take a look. Keep an eye on My Youtube Vext Gaming.

I'll get guides up asap for anybody new to the game/Sorceress in particular as I've played the class since Launch on PC. Any questions I'm happy to answer as best I can, forum seem a bit quiet right now.

Sounds awesome, i fell in love with the Sorceress and plan to make it my main but will start out with a Ranger for fast headstart grinding sessions.

Do you think anicancle will be possible with the XBox settings? Cant wait for your XBox specialised combo videos ?

You do realize sorcs have great mobility and are extremely fast grinders, plus far far less reliant on consumables

I did the starting routine over and over again on XBox and later on PC. Yeah as i said i love Sorc and plan to main it. Just for the 1-50 grind i felt its faster with the Ranger. I wont play him Awaken and prolly never again after that. I hearded about the potion problem but didnt experienced it myselfe, only heal pots were used from time to time when dark red or purple mobs in between.

So dont Panic, i will be a Sorc ... soon ? maybe already on the second day when 2 friends join and i will experience all quests in their own speed (they are totally new didnt even play the bata to not spoiler themselfe)

For anyone following this thread, immediately when getting to level 51 go to a "Skill" Instructor and choose addons, you are going to want to choose Dream of doom and make sure to get restores 30 mana per hit.  You can be out of mana and hit a pack of mobs and be completely full again.  

At this point you may never need pots again fro PVE, but PVP is a different story so have a few handy for that.

What skill did you set to your right dpad quick slot?

Those binds aren't my usual ones however it's shard explosion in this video
