Lol. I've stopped looking at all BDO vids and streams until we get a release date, was getting too attached and it was getting painful. I was afraid I would do something I'd regret... like going out and buying an expensive pc. Lol

I still don't understand the nodes, what their point is, or why I need to care about them. I tried watching a video but somehow I remember absolutely nothing from it...

It's for crafting. For example for beer (which you require to use on workers) you need few things, which you can get from workers working at the nodes. Then you connect them to city and transport them there and you can craft from there

Ok. I'm still confused. I'm going to be honest, outside of combat I literally know nothing of this game. Looks like I need to look up a lot. Like, workers? I have/can have workers? what do they do?

Also how the hell do I get more inventory space, and where do I even get a mount that isn't a donkey? I've never felt like a bigger noob in a single game until I started playing BDO. Thankfully theres tons of youtube video's.

Workers fuel your lifeskills. You must have them unless you want to grind all the time every day and never stop. Otherwise youll make no money when your not grinding. You get CP contribution points for doing quests and for certain crafting turn ins. You use the CP to buy and connect nodes, buy housing (to craft and do other things for yourself in), lodging to have more workers, more storage, and workshops and stuff to make things (most are useless for profit but good for getting rid of mats and using for yourself). The most simple form is using your cp to buy nodes. Certain nodes have working areas. You roll workers with Energy at the town (energy comes from gaining knowledge by talking to NPCs and killing monsters) Once you have a worker, you send them to that node you bought with CP. They work for a certain period of time and bring back the materials listed on that node. They will repeat the task up to 50000 times if you keep them fed with Beer you either craft yourself or buy from the market. Also you can send your workers to workshops to make crates for trading, or to make objects in game (jewelry, crafting stations, boats, wagons, armor, life tools...etc).

You again can use your CP to buy storage in the town you want. Click the town and then from the drop down list on the top right select storage. Or you can do what most people do any buy it from the pearl shop. To get a mount, you can continue your questline for a free horse. Alternatively, you can get sugar and rope from the stable manager and go out in the wild to catch one. Your looking for the all black ones. They are T5. Then you ride it back to a stable and it becomes yours. Also, if your in a main town you can goto the stable manager and click Horse Market where you can buy one. Dont waste money if your going to buy it on anything less then a T8 imo BECAAAUUUSEEEE... You can also breed the horses you own or catch for a chance to level them up. The chance to continue this untill they are T7 is pretty decent.

BDO is not a casual MMO or simple whatsoever. It can send some running that dont want to put in the work to learn it. Best bet is to join a guild, get in there discord and let them help you along the way. It really is a game you wanna play with someone who already knows it lol.

Wow, that was actually a really help explanation, thanks!

Honestly, the fact that its so involved is the part I enjoy the most. I tend to get bored much faster when I finally full understand everything because then a lot of the mystery has been taken out. My favorite thing about playing new games, specifically MMO's is doing the research and practicing new ways of doing things.

I'm on most days if you want to send me a friend request, my family name is the same as my username/gt.

I've just been trying to grind levels to get my Awakening, getting from 50-56 is tough though I feel I'm always either under leveled or over leveled for all the mobs.
