What skill setup should I use for mostly grinding mobs? Lvl 52 with decent gear, been using slash this whole time (lol), 500 points to spend. And how about that life regen? Do I just chug pots or is there another way.

Go to skill trainer select skill add on (level 50 is required for this option) get the ground roar + 20 ap  to monster and +10 hp per hit, also spin slash with burn dmg and sp, and ground smash with poison dmg and wp (willpower). 

Life gen is useless, chug pots if you are not killing a group in 1 or 2 combos (view my guide) then you need to go to weaker monsters like barbarians or manes. 

you have a lot of moves that add frontal block during use and you can spin monster with quick heavy strike.
