Has something been changed in the most recent patch with Cooking? Almost every other attempt FAILS...

I get the message about possible incorrect ingredient amounts, skill requirements, etc...but my skill lvl is SKILLED and I've been making these darn Good Feed for weeks...and now all of a sudden I am failing more than success??? What gives?!?! I've lost a TON of materials and its frustrating!!!

Describe your ingredient list, otherwise i am not sure how we can help...

6 x Pork

4 x Flour

1 x Dried Fish

3 x Mineral Water

I'll add ingredients,  choose the option to make multiple, and start it up. It will work fine, then fail, then work, then fail. Same ingredients, same values.

Pork isnt red meat.

Try lamb or goat meat

Pork should be fine since its in the meat 1 category. I'm guessing it's the fish, try two dried fish instead of one.

yes random failures are a typical behavior when an ingredient has not enough quantity.

All dried fishes are NOT equal...! Fishes, internally, are either white / green / blue / yellow.

At some point they decided to recolor all white fishes into green. BUT internally they are still white. So you need twice as many dried white fishes than green fishes.

Just doesnt make sense for it to be the qty of ingredients when it works,  then doesn't, then works again...all using the make multiple option, so no change in ingredients or amounts.

I'll try the 2 dried fish and see if that changes the outcome. 

Yep it’s the fish. You need to double the amount when dried. 

I ran into the same thing when making good feed and pissed myself off till I realized the mistake.

Right. Simply put, with the right ingredients in lower than the correct quantities, you have only a chance at succeeding...or failing. 

Others are right, you need 2 dried fish. Any recipe that requires 1 fresh fish, can be substituted for 2 dried fish. 

Put in the 2 dried fish instead of the one, and you'll find that, if I recall the recipe correctly, you'll succeed 100% of the time.

You are correct. I have not failed once using the 6x meat, 4x flour, 2x dried fish and 3x mineral water recipe.

Just add one more dried fish and you will be all fine! Although someone more knowledgeable could confirm if drying blue or yellow grade fish will count as more than one dried fish... ?

Certain dried fishes take 2 instead of one.
