So most of my experience with strikers was on an awakened one on PC. I spent little time giving thought on pre-awakening nor did I use it often (not a good striker, I know)

So assuming we will have a a period of time where we use our pre-awakened strikers I got a subject id love to hear your thoughts about.

Unprotected flows - do you use them?

I haven't had the chance to test my build in large scale pvp but it proved rather good in some 1v1 instances.

I mostly use protected skills which also has some decent CC.

I never use the unprotected flows though. They seem to have a good dmg scale but do any of you use them? Would you suggest getting them?

I feel deathstrike after crimson fang is a must have skill for its huge debuff. Also if you have extra SP you can level triple kick to 4 for the AP buff

In large scale fights, no do not. You'll just get cc'd and be useless. 1v1 though, absolutely. Large scale you need to stay in SA as much as you can. Strikers in pre simply do not have as much kill potential in large scale. Stick with either protecting your backline or locking down casters. Remember to use fots animation cancel when diving, then go into rage or MD when you land. Don't ever expect to get an unprotected flow combo off in the middle of a ball.
