Thank you for joining the Black Desert Beta this weekend! It has been a fantastic experience for all of us on the Black Desert Console team and we hope that you have made as many memories as we have! If you participated in the beta, and haven’t completed the survey yet, please do! We want to know which areas we can improve the game on. Although the changes may not make it for launch, we hope to get as many suggestions into the game as soon as possible.

Beta Blues
We once again apologize to all those who were affected by the store issues in EU. We have been assured that this mistake will not happen for the launch, so rest easy and know that the launch version will be working fine. Again, we are sorry for these issues.

Coming to an Update Near You! 

We are also working on further optimization and bug fixes, some of which will be applied at launch and some may come in the first update after launch. We are planning on getting as many fixes through as possible, but they may be rolled out over the course of the first couple of updates. At launch, there will be a UX fix which will make O and X function based on your system settings. The launch will also feature several changes which should help alleviate most of the crash issues that were prevalent through beta. 

Asia Server Coming
As many noticed during there beta, there were quite a lot of Korean and Japanese users on the North America servers. It is difficult not only for those players but it is also difficult for those who are not from the region seeing those languages. We will be bringing an Asian server for those players to play at launch. In the Asian servers, only English can be used for the family name of a character and the characters name.

Chat Menu Options

Although not confirmed right now, we are currently testing out resizing options for the chat window. As it is in testing, there is a chance it may not be ready for some time, but we are aware that it is a heavily requested feature and will try to make it a reality.
