How to use the Combat Book on Xbox

Hi,
I am a new player who is using her Xbox to play BDO. I have not been able to get my character to engage the combat skill book on the designated mannequins. I have both my main and sub and am level 50. Again, I cannot target the scarecrows after I use the book at all (main issue). I use to game more so on PlayStation and PC directly. I am struggling to get a mouse or keyboard to interact with my Xbox one so its been a learning experience. Please help.

Also, make sure that you are not in a party. The Y button prompt will not appear if you are still in a party, even if its just you in the party.
