Potato mode.

Like honestly, stop f-cking around with needless changes that drastically effect gameplay and let us lower the damn graphics manually.

All these attempts in the past 6 months ended up backfiring BADLY on everyone. PA should have learned its lesson by now.

I'm not belittling the effort and i recognize the attempt and will to make the best gaming experience for us. but cmon.. the answer is so freaking simple -

Gives us potato mode. Lets us play how WE want and stop trying to come up with ways to make the game better with UNTESTED "SOLUTIONS".

Have they made any reply regarding potato mode at all? 

I've been saying exactly this for months I get they are working hard in optimizing and they've been doing a great job but they just need to let us choose not to sound like a dork but they're not Steve jobs he was the only person I know that got away with telling ppl what they wanted

They also said in a stream that iframes were what is causing players to be invisible in rbf and I proved that was a load of bull in another thread sorry but the cms/GM's that stream have very little knowledge on the game. 

another time when they were streaming showing a quest guide, had no clue that they could pvp in the arena in alti nova and claimed to have been some kind of fanboy for the game for years. I hold very little if any confidence in what they say

Oh I totally believe you I'm just throwing out there what they've said. I don't believe potato isn't going to help and I agree sometimes the cms seem like they don't know what they're doing,  I'm sure the devs consulted with them about removing 40% of the mobs or they gave the idea whatever it was they clearly don't know what the players want 

Yeah its painfully obvious that the guys on the live stream really don't know BDO hardly at all. Its rough watching them play it. I don't care if they do or don't but don't try to come off as if you do and then don't even know about basic stuff in the game.

I agree here. Good example will be that they can't possibly know how the monster wipe affected all grinding spots cause they simply don't know any of these spots well enough to tell. Nor did they spend any significant amount of time at any spot to tell silver or efficiency difference. If they had knowledge like this they would have told devs that players will never accept it. 

Hell, even devs are typically poop at their own games.

For me it all makes sense what they write but I read first the German interview and it sounds a little different.

This is smoke screen from PA. At least half of the players experience worse performance in a form of sudden freeze that happens randomly (for me it's in aakman most of the times and it was not present before the patch - I'm on one x with ssd ) 

They divided community further cause people who make money from the grind got hit directly with this patch cause our silver per hour dipped significantly so it is a poor example of communication.  The community wants an equivalent of PC potato mode, not nerfed grind spots and scuffed silver. 

bump - since this is still an issue and needs more attention.

If they ever fix the performance issues I'll come back to BDO. I left because it was just too much, all my time practicing frames, combos, group fights, etc meant absolutely nothing when trying to apply those things in BA, Node Wars, Siege Wars, Guild fights, etc.

2 or 3 days ago one CM said on discord they are working hard on potato mode and testing it.
