I tried to use the 10 hours combat experience book at Altinova training dummies on Olvia 1 & 2 and the option to begin training on the dummies is not showing

I've tried using 2 books with no avail to the option coming up

Let's see if you do everything correctly:

- buy book from the vendor

- click on the book in your inventory (as if you would in order to consume a food buff)

- approach the dummy and press Y (triangle for ps4) when prompt

If you do this the following way and still the training doesn't start then I suggest creating a customer support ticket 

is correct in his suggestions for this. If these steps to not work it might be an account specific issue which would entail filing a ticket so the ELITE team can look into it. Here is the link, let me know if  I can do anything else for ya!
