I noticed there is a volley system on the website that says you can shoot cannons from steering wheel.  After doing some research I notice that system is only on PC and for improved Frigates/Epheria boats.  Would love an explanation from a GM or CM on how this works on console and was this an oversight.   

The improved sailboat/Frigate is another update called "The Great Expedition" and will be "SOON"

It's a ship skill that shoots all cannons at once. You need to be a certain level in the Sailing lifeskill to use it though. 

On top of the abovementioned skills, you can also use “Volley” where you can fire both portside and starboard cannons while sailing. You can start using “Volley” from Sailing Level 1; you cannot disembark from the ship during cooldown.

That came straight from the page.  There is no level req.

Yeah, I couldn't remember what level it said. 

But, doing a search on google...I find absolutely nothing on this skill, even for PC. 

I believe Volley was easy to obtain after the Great Expedition. Since all of the canons are now below deck and controlled by the captain. Could be wrong, haven't done much of that content on PC.

we're technically in the great expedition version right now. but we got bits of it. we got young sea monsters, nerfed ramming skill etc - those are great expedition content.

Using volley requires a T3 boat aka "Improved" frigate/sailboat and higher (carrack variations, caravel, galleass).

unfortunately we got the worst parts of the great expedition update. i assume - AGAIN - to control progress of lifeskillers.

Every time we turn around. It's very deliberate and its painfully obvious that it is.
