Anyone else lose materials due to server crash/glitch only to get an I'm sorry we can't help you, when you submit a ticket?

Yes but not in a long time.Back when the game launched there was an awful bug in the ship building shop in Port E. You could only assign one worker at a time on any part of the ship. This caused big problems. Took an entire week to produce a fishing boat instead of a couple of hours. Anyhow, almost getting it finished and the game locked up while in the crafting screen and crashed. After loading back into the game, everything was gone and had to start over. No big deal because it was just a fishing boat. 

Then we had a couple of people go through this when they were building the Forrest Path Wagon and lost all progress due to similar crashes. This is a big damn deal if you have gone through the pain of building one of these.

Thankfully, no one in our guild has lost progress on the frigate. I crashed last night while adding workers and I feared that I would have lost everything.. Thankfully, everything was fine when I loaded back in. All I have left are the designs and I won't touch that crafting window until I have all 25.

I am happy you didn't lose your mats. Believe me it is no fun. Mine crashed like that and I lost 9 days at 30 workers a day. I had 10 plans on it as well. Soo not fun.
