The advertisement for the game, is that lifeskills are supposed to be profitable.  But right now end products of cooking and alchemy are worth almost nothing, and is making me lose interest in doing lifeskills, when I love doing lifeskills it's my primary way of playing the game, (I do not grind over 1 hour a day).  But I love doing lifeskills and gathering and cooking different things.  But the meal prices ever since the merge with Xbox has totally crashed the economy and it makes me have zero incentive to go lifeskilling right now because there are no profits to be made.  Milk and Cheese and Butter is depressed, and cooking for the imperial delivery is selling at a loss.  

The only food keeping it's value correctly in massive volume is pet food right now, and everything else is just not doing it for me right now.  I am not sure of the solution to fix this problem, I just would like the dev's to make lifeskills have at least a 10%-30% profit of a material over the raw material cost of the market, which means making a composite function for the end product to set it's median value.  

You can make profits out of lifeskilling even tho Manos isn't in the game yet.It requires efficiency and a good market reading (tracking of CM prices, spreadsheets). If you are trying to simply copy/paste what is currently being done on PC, most of the time, you'll simply lose your time and silver.

Fyi I do manage to do 70M/hour profit with lifeskilling. If you're aiming at doing 250M/hour or 1-2B/day like some of the hardcore lifeskillers on PC, I don't think it's possible yet
