I feel that the entire game could benefit from this, but I'm placing it here because I play on Xbox.

This is my suggestion for a function that could benefit the game as a whole. There needs to be an assist system in place for the people that don't follow the basic "AP! AP! AP!" build of the game, and actually play a support role to help their friends/team/guild in PvP events. 

I am currently playing a DP Shai. I don't do damage at all, but I buff/debuff those that need it, and that's okay with me. I've always leaned more towards support roles in most games that I play that have them, anyway.

My question is "Why aren't there any rewards for being a support character?". I go into RBF or a NW, and all I get for my contribution towards how well we do is a "pat on the back". The RBF seals? Bare minimum, regardless of win or lose. NW badges? Exactly the same as the RBF seals. 

Why is contribution based solely on whether or not you're killing, and not what you're actually bringing to the team? I feel that an assist system that rewards those that support their team would benefit everyone, because everything currently is measured by "How many kills did you get?". Even people that get their kills "stolen" (I know, it's team based. All that matters is that the enemy dies, not who killed them.) could benefit from this, because it gives an incentive to work as a team in all PvP scenarios.
