Just started playing, I’m on the ‘Traces of Edna’ quest and I'm stuck above the map. I'm in the room with the white cute that's floating. 
i tried changing servers. I don't want to delete this character because I already claimed my traveler item pack 

Have you tried the Escape function in the options menu? If you have then sending a ticket in is probably your best bet for a solution. Make sure to add what you don't want in a solution like you've stated here. If none of their solutions work try asking for a character roll back for a non-glitched location when submiting a follow up ticket.
