As a new player to BDO, I will begin feverishly pursuing information related to game progression and strategy...as soon as we get a release date. Up to that point, my research will be on a casual basis and whenever I might find myself bored at work.

In the link(very long link) below, I used the BDO planner as well as some info from various sources to come up with a "build" for my wizard. Please feel free review and comment if this looks like a viable endgame build for pvp content and how long should I expect it to take to reach this point. Looking for tips and pointers from those with game experience please.

Minus the alchemy stone and awakening weapon, because I doubt we will have those in game right away. The gems are ones that I picked because I remembered them being what most people used pre-Mediah update or earlier on into Mediah. I would imagine the boss gear would be implemented probably a few weeks in, similar to how it was in NA launch.

The armor is sort of up to opinion? You could do any number of different combinations. I like the Agerian set early on because of the cast speed/attack speed that doesn't require gems. But you can get those things as well by doing Heve pieces that have 2 gem slots. That part is really just up to you.

Edit 2: Tips, right. Okay. SO. Start with the green grade gear which is the second link I posted. It's hard to give a time estimate on it because it depends on your luck and the amount of time you put into the game, but I would say that it's reasonable to obtain within a couple weeks for most people. The accessories will take a little time, but those are something you work at after your armor and weapons are done.

Boss gear, you work at after your green weapons and armor are +15 and regraded to ultimate. Just go to the world bosses, do your daily scrolls, and work on setting up ways to make money so you have the opportunity to buy any boss pieces that come up on the market. In the time you're working toward your boss pieces, keep working toward better accessories while not boss hunting. The first build I linked should take you a while. You'll have to get a lot of memory fragments to upgrade all of those pieces, and going into the Mediah content you may not have every single piece just yet.

Looks like it's time to shelve the ESO build binder for now and start the BDO binder...

Seems pretty accurate to me. Only things that really matter on the list is boss gear and accessories. Everything else can be made by workers and isn't worth grinding for.......unless your already grinding the location for xp, knowledge, other drops, and silver. 

If enslave is right though boss gear and most end game accessories won't farm able at launch anyway

I expect boss gear to come into play pretty early on, though. But your primary focus to start with should always be full +15 green armor and weapons, then regrade them all up to ultimate. Because you'll need those up to have a good shot at getting the boss gear when it does come out.

I think they came out with kzarka first if I remember correctly. Then later on they added in boss armor. But it may be a little different this time around. We'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully they give us some sort of content release roadmap.
