For some reason I have items locked in my inventory like they're showing up in the slots that I don't have unlocked

Maybe you haven't got it yet, You have to redeem or buy it for the items to open. Octordle game

In dordle is a fantastic game to have on hand when you're feeling depressed, exhausted, or simply need a small reminder that life is wonderful!

For items locked in inventory, turn off auto sort and drag them to an open slot. 

If you've had an item or buff that gave you added termporary slots, and had items in those slots when the item ended, those items get locked until you get permanent slots to replace them.   Very frustrating!

yeah what ever you had that gave extra bag space ran out so now you can't use your stuff till you get it again

To check which inventory slots are currently unlocked, press the "I" key to open your inventory and hover your mouse over the inventory slots. The unlocked slots should have a light blue background, while the locked slots will have a grayed-out background.

I logged in today to find less inventory slots and some of my items nonexistent or not excess-able.

It is obvious, that you run out of the advantage pack that gives 16 extra slots in inventory &  local storage. To resolve this, you have to move the item from a locked place to a unlocked place. If you have no advantage pack somewhere lying around (black spirit treasure fI) you have to free up some space somehow. With the time you get used to this mechanism. A good idea is, not to become too dependent on this temporary extra slots. To clear this up you could buy in the loyality shop a one-day advantage pack. 

The value pack expires after a certain time and can lock out certain items when it expires. The packs gives you 16 slots extra. The items locked are decided by the position they are in before auto arrange is applied. You will have to move the items out of those spots manually. They can be moved out, but not back in. If your inventory has some form of auto arrange marked, you will not be able to move items manually.
