Server hopping is an integral part of BDO, especially when you are a life-skiller. However, the game crashes incredibly often when you switch channels (it hapens 1 out of every 4 attempts). It also happens when I switch characters.

It happened to me when I played on PS4 and now on PS5. The error report on PS5 is CE-108255-1. This error is somewhat obscure since there is not clear information on what causes it, but as I said the "blue screen" error happened to me on PS4 too so is not a PS5 issue. This whole hing started since the Nova update and has been a constant problem ever since, but now on PS5 is getting worse.

The same error happened to me but most often in Red Battlefield when I respawn. It is almost impossible to finish a RBF due to crashing. It also happens quite often in big cities or when world bosses spwan.
