I know this is a topic that's been brought up time after time, but I wanna address that PVP.....Today I set off from Altinova and saw another player race off ahead of me at some speed, but thought nothing of it, until a couple of corners later when they purposely ambushed me, killed me and my horse, deliberately waited for me to respawn and kill me again for the heck of it. I'm a PVE player, always have been, but having access to level 50+ blockaded by PVP bullshit is dumb....I keep my PVP off at all times coz I just wanna enjoy the damn game, but players like that just make my piss boil. Besides, what kind of deterrent is losing karma when they've gone specifically out of their way to piss me off.....

Your describing the predator syndrome, they prey on easy kills, skulk in bushes, hide behind walls and seize an opportunity at the sign of weakness!

For all the bullshit that’s thrown about in regards to unwritten rules in etiquette, karma bombing, ganking and spawn killing, Ive found that the unwritten rules are not worth the paper they are written on and trying to reason with keyboard warriors is a fools errand!

Sorry if my reply isn’t more constructive, but, I’ve learned over the past two years playing this game that most players do what suits them, don’t have etiquette, nor manners and getting angry just gets us nowhere fast!

The only thing I can suggest that’s viable and at no cost incurred: Q escape then server jump!

I mean it's a pvp game. I'm no fan of pvp but it is what it is. I haven't run into too many issues myself. Honestly there seems to be less pvp grinding than back when I played WoW

if you're only 50, are you relatively new/returned? Go to Olivia no pvp

BDO is an old school type open shared world MMO - PVP is a necessity for competing for resources. In a fully instances game like FFXIV it's not really necessary but BDO is very old school. Even in old school games without PVP you'd still find ways to kill people who were competing with you for resources be it money or xp or monsters or what ever. It's a necessity in a game like this and just has to be accepted and lived with 

obviously people will grief  with it but it's pretty far and few between

I'm lvl 56 at this point, but judging by the ease with which they took me out it makes me think they're a much higher lvl and should probably know better. It just left me dumbfounded the way they literally camped out waiting for me, it could've been anyone I suppose, but it doesn't change the fact that it was a shitty thing to do
