In the most recent patch on BDO, Pearl Abyss made it so that megaphones are now pearl items. Don't get me wrong sometime world chat can be annoying, but the majority of people that use megaphones where using it with good intentions such as Guild Recruiting, buying and selling etc. I don't think that players should have their communication monitized, if anything just make megaphones more expensive in the loyalties store.
