I was curious about this too, couldn't find any info online.

In fact all your characters share the same guild so you can't join a guild on an alt at all

That makes sense. Guess you'd have to start another account if you wanna spy on other guilds. Lol

And guild hopping isn't really a option either because you sign contracts and if I remember right if you break a contract you have to wait a few days before joining a new guild

That makes sense, since theres no trading between players

ESO was bad for guild hopping. ?

You have to pay half of your daily pay if you break the contract. Also its a 24 hour wait if you guild hop and i believe 8 hours before you can participate in node wars. That being said, people guild hop all the time. To merc for node wars and also to join GvGs sometimes for the fun of it.
