What level should you be to beat the Red Nose boss quest on Xbox? One website said you needed to be level 50 to beat but not sure if they were referring to PC.
I think I beat it at level 15. I just progressed through the story, without grinding, and beat it. Just kite it. Remember that HP bars of enemies lag some, or so it seems. Even if it looks like you're doing no damage just continue to fight.

They don't lag. It's part of the life skills or knowledge system whatever it's called. You can't see health of mobs go down until you spec into or something of the sort. There was another post on here.
Basically all you will see is the color of bars going from Yellow -> Orange - Red until you've acquired the knowledge to see them go down gradually.
Ah okay, thanks for the information, Hush. I knew I had seen both so I wasn't sure..
Monster bars change color,,only indication i had..i was lvl 22

In order to see mob HP going down you need to kill a certain amount of that mobs in order to gain knowledge about them. Same goes for bosses. You still do dmg to them and are killing them you just don't know how fast
I have seen so many people asking for help in the game about that boss so many times that I think a message should pop up about the health when you summon the boss
I mean I played a bit on PC do I already knew but even then, how do people no realize you cant see any new enemy health bar go down, so why would it be different for bosses? I guess people just run up and just spam abilities without paying any attention to anything?
This boss is really simple. If you let him get close, he starts to execute a belly flop move. This ends up leaving him stunned on the ground for several seconds. Lay into him from behind to get "Back Attacks" (higher damage). Dodge him when he gets up and rinse and repeat.

maybe because not everyone has played this game on pc before.
Level 16 when I beat the nasty boy! did have some help as well, just keep hitting him and make sure you have plenty of health vials along oh yea and the back attacks work really well!

That wasn't the point, the point is if you get above level 10 it really should be obvious. Especially since they tell you in game.
There's 4 different versions of red nose in the game intro quest, scroll boss, awakened scroll boss, world boss. Intro boss is easy 1 man fight, scroll boss requires group until your highly leveled and geared, awakened boss is for higher levels with gear, and world boss is for everyone on the server to tram up and kill
Honestly I was button smashing randomly combos until I killed him around level 10-15 lol
This is a beta for players trying this out for the first time.
I assumed that this unconventional " feature" was a bug since I could see some hp bars going down but it seemed random.
I have been reading the quest info as I get them and no where did it say that killing bosses would be a blind attack until you kill it 10 times etc.
Honestly how many times do I come back to kill red nose ?
