On my Xbox One, there is a severe lack of setting adjustments, or I have not found them.  Game screen is larger than my TV's viewable area and will not scale down.  ( I cannot adjust that in my TV's settings either>  Chat box size, opacity, text colors are not changeable.  Gamma is too high and again unchangeable.  Graphically, I don't know how the game looks for 4k and HDR users, but xbox one really needs help.  Whether it be reducing draw distance, reducing textures, or particle effects, I know the game can look tons better.

   All of these things may already be in the pipeline, but its feedback. I think this game has a good chance of succeeding, and plan to be a patron  regardless of the shape that purchase price, subscription, or micro transaction model it takes   Just really need to be able to adjust WAY more settings / options.

This is still a problem on Xbox One even after release, the screen size doesn't fit the TV and there are no settings to change this.

I had this issue as well, but it wasn't my game or xbox causing it and it actually turned out to be a TV setting. I went to xbox settings, display, video output, calibrate TV and hit next until you get to the aspect ratio screen. On my TV I went to settings, picture, advanced settings, then turned overscan off and this solved my problem. Hope this helped!
