Me and my brother have been trying all day to get into the game, but we keep on getting a "Lost connection to server" message. It happens right at the game's menu. We launch it, get to the title screen where we are prompted to hit A, and the get to the menu where out option are "start game", "quit game", or "change profile". After selecting start, a message pops up that says "Now processing" for a few seconds before kicking us back to the title screen with the "lost connection" message.
