How about changing the Central Market so we have an option to either slow down updates or turn updates completely off while sorting through our own inventory.

It is extremely irritating to scroll through a bunch of items and only have 2-3 seconds to find the item you're looking for before the Central Market refreshes and forces you back to the top of your item list.
