One of the things that really bugged me in the beta was that when you come to spend your points on learning new skills, you have no idea how much they cost. If it displayed them on each learnable skill that would help a great deal.
Also, I noticed a bug that when I came to learn higher skills like Healing Lighthouse I could not acquire the skill(s) even though it told me they were learnable no matter how many points I saved up. However, when the mark 2 upgrade of said skills became learnable I was then able to acquire them.
Many people feel your sentiment on this. Myself included. Found it very hard to make a roadmap for myself without second screening it. At that point Ive now just gone and looked at builds. That just sucked a bit of fun out of discovery, as Ill now be completely avoiding some skills I may have otherwised tried. I believe there has been enough feedback from the community that they are going to be adressing this.. hopefully. Threads like this only help!
A simple skill tree with costs and lvl requirement when highlighted over would be soo much better then this menu style approach we currently have. Seems like an obvious choice, but I donno. They probably had this under the UI teams area and it all just got clumped together into a similar style of menus. When a more drop down picturesque aproach would be more pleasing in this scenario.
