I took a break from BDO for almost a year and I made a post recently about cross-transferring characters and saves to PC if they have the hardware is a sorely needed thing For people that don't want to start over. This is the current state of BDO Old Gen Console.

This game needs some serious help on Old Gen. It's unacceptable that the Land of Morning Light is getting released for Old Gen when the slow-loading of the environment makes it difficult to travel across the map let alone the ocean. The performance is pathetic and I'm amazed this game hasn't been pulled off the Xbox/PlayStation stores yet. When grinding enemies like stars end the frames dip so bad once it unfreezes, you're already dead. Xbox One X/Series XS/ PlayStation 4 Pro/PlayStation 5 may run this game much better, but I'd rather this game lose support for Old Gen because the current state is so poor even on a Samsung T7 SSD NVME 3.2 Gen is still slow, and almost 5 to 7 mins of loading the game.

We need an update from the devs on performance/optimization and fixes. I have friends wanting to play this on their last Gen Consoles but I can't defend this game, let alone recommend it because of its hideous state. I know there are those who are going to say good riddance to me, but to those who do feel the same way I'm putting this out here for everyone even if you disagree. I can't spend another dime on this game until I know there will be a performance overhaul and fixes in the future because I have no idea how much worse this can get with large-scale expansions getting added to this already performance-unfriendly game creating a grim future for Last Gen Consoles.
