Today I got killed by another player when I was killing centaurs. 
The other day it was the same thing again when I was on the side of the road doing nothing. 
Again, it was always on the side of the road, waiting for me to finish something else at home. 
In short, the same thing happened to me several times. 
In BDO, I just want to progress my character, without getting killed every corner by other players because it's really boring. 
Is there any way to avoid this, other than not playing BDO? I'm on the rulupee server. THANKS.

That´s the game-mechanic of BDO. The only way to got PVP-protection is under LVL 49. You can also play on season-server without PVP.

In the next few years you can go grind into marnis realm every 2h for 1h that can help a lot too. But PA delayed every update long as possible.

Yes, I know that's the game-mechanic. I know, I know... 
Besides, if my preference goes to the rulupee server, it's because I find that this kind of "mishap" is rarer . 
But that's not what stopped me from playing BDO.

I feel you on this so hard. That constant, looming threat of getting ganked in BDO is… exhausting. Remember Flappy Bird? That was less rage-inducing than getting repeatedly murdered while trying to grind. Seriously, what's the point? I wish they'd implement some kind of opt-in PvP system. Like, I get the thrill, but sometimes you just want to exist in the world without becoming someone else's entertainment. Maybe try hopping to a less populated server? Though, honestly, I'm half-tempted to just main a life skiller and give up on combat altogether. Ugh. Good luck out there, Rulupee friend!

If you’re getting killed AFK, welcome to BDO. That’s pretty normal after level 50. You can flag down or switch to Arsha and lean into the chaos. If you’re AFK a lot, maybe stick to safe zones or try switching channels. It sucks, but that’s how the game’s built.
