Ok I'm looking for opinions..

During the beta I played wizard and warrior..loved them both but felt like the warrior felt better at the time.

However grinding mobs was easier with a wizard, but from what I've read a wizard sucks at 1v1 pvp which I would like to dabble in.

I almost always play a mage type character so should I mix it up and go with warrior which felt smoother or stick with a wizard for faster grind and stick to group pvp

If you’re good any class is good

this is  honestly one of the few skill based MMO's

Judging from your post, Id say Warrior. Its about having fun. Play what feels like more fun to you.

just pick what ever you had the most fun with compare the pros and cons and go from there. Did you try as well Sorc. if you say you play casters mostly? 

Play whichever class you like the most. Although from my personal perspective Wizard is much easier to get into and is tad better in both PVE (tons of AOE, Attacks are not chained in Combos, has Heals) and PVP (Protected Area FTW - And large-scale guilds are looking for Wiz/Witch, Heal and ofc Teleport when stuff gets tough). Warrior in PVE is.. I think one of the slowest grinding classes and in PVP he's is mostly Defending spots. Tho in 1v1 War is indeed better.

Warrior

Always pick the most fun or you'll be stuck in an expensive reroll cycle. Most of your time will be spent killing mobs, so the enjoyment you get from that remains the most important factor. Remember we have all the others classes coming (probably) relatively soon. Gameplay also changes with awakening kits.

I’m brand new to Black Desert, I’ve always played magic type roles in the past. I was gonna go Wizard but last minute thought I’d give Sorc a go because to me it looked the most fun despite everyone saying how hard it is to master and play.

I loved it and I’ll probably go Sorc main and just learn how to get better. I guess point being as above, go with what’s funnest, I guess Warrior in your case? I like that it’s a skill based game and that the good players will be able to rock whatever they’re playing. 

I vote warrior because I'm playing witch and that would mean one less person to drive up the cost of staffs and daggers

Lmao that's a fair reason. 

I'm edging towards a warrior main but will that gimp me as I'll be less desirable for group pvp or world bosses

As long as you have scrolls nobody will care. One witch or wizard is fine for bosses as long as you have health pots as far as node wars go as long as your gear and level is good.......and you show up for the fight you'll be welcome

Honestly just play the class you like for your main. It wouldn't hurt to have a couple witches or wizards for world boss alts though. 

I have the same question and i think ill choose warrior because 1v1, both of them are so funny for me. But you konw, we will have our questions answered after playing with them a beat:)

Otherwise it depends on your priorities and game style.
