I was assuming it would be digital only but saw a pic on a Google search that looked like a disk case for the game. Ill most likely just buy the digital myself but I think having a hard copy would increase sales quite a bit

I don't see a hard copy happening at all. 

i would buy one that for sure

retail still helps selling the game tho
if they would offer a legendary package including some goodies i would be realy up for it

Now thats something I can see. If it's like a limited special edition. I'd buy that too.

I don’t see a reason why they wouldn’t have a hard copy of BDO, even ESO had a physical copy you can buy. It’s not like its a free to play game.

If BDO is even trying to compete with ESO as the better console MMO they'll more than likely need to have hard copies to boost sales. Alongside needing to have as many regions aa possible available at launch. 

That's just my view on it though. 

At this point its safe to assume that this is not a FTP. Keeping my eye out for further details.
