What's your favorite class and why?

While I don't play the game, I watch a fair bit and I'm pulled toward the wizard primarily for the aoe skills and animations. I have not seen another game anywhere that has such impressive animations. I am concerned about the xbox being able to handle it, lol.

wiz,witch,ranger,dk,warrior in that order... unsure about the lahn.. she can fly so thats cool.

Wiz i like because its EZ and with virtually no combos. will be easiest to use on a controller i think. I feel like i wanna play and enjoy the game more then i want to mash buttons.. some of the others like sorc,ninja,tamer its high apm lots of buttons cancels and combos.

I used to play rogue and nightblade in wow o teso, but i think im going to change.. So ill try warrior or wizard and if i dont like them ill rerroll to ninja ?

Warrior because I like bruiser type classes that can be right in the fight and not die instantly

Berserker. Pure untamed strength and rage to rip through foes, and can take a beating sounds like my type of class. Also love it as it is a melee class, but also features close and mid way combat with the Iron Buster. I love the heals (don't know how that works now with the Black Spirit Rage changes). But I love being a big guy rampaging through people striking fear in enemies. 

Although, with how the game currently is on PC, I don't think the Berserker is what it was since I played. Many people including me are sad at how weak it has become. Hopefully by the time Xbox gets it things will change.

lost some of its meme like things like tripple grab and is a little less of a meat shield, but got a nooooice damage boost. if you liked playing before and not just grabbing and trolling people, I think youll like it even more now man!

Don’t lose hope they make changes to the game everyday, some changes are wanted others aren’t but sooner or later they will have somewhat fixed it

the higher the skill the longer it extends it plus the flow, but everything off cooldown a good 3-5 seconds. enough to fly around all of velia once lol

Musa looks super awesome 

Im gonna use wiz, musa, and lahn whenever it comes out.

Ill end up using everyone in the long run if possible

My guy, we got ancient wave as main burst which has a ridiculously long cool down and some debuffs and some ap buffs. The rest is RNG or mediocre moves. This guy summed it up perfectly.

Either musa or warrior seems like neither is gonna be seen everywhere

Sorceress because she has a scythe and I want a somewhat challenging class

Man youll get that! Those things are crazy lol. Idk how it will translate to xbox since it doesnt seem youll be able to cancel the skills needed like on pc.

Yeah I’m concerned about the animation canceling, I know you can animation cancel on eso guess we’ll find out hopefully soon!  

Ranger, being able to use a bow and then a sword with wind magic after awakening seems really cool to me. Alongside the fact that I really enjoy fast paced gameplay.

Yeah I hope if anything the X doesnt have severe lag I think the OG and S will lag no matter what unless they do optimization mode "isnt that pretty if you youtube it"

Maybe post nerf but, Warrior was one of the most popular classes as it has one of the best versatility that a class can offer. It has a shield, major burst damage, CC, and sustainability. I do not know how well it performs now after the nerf hammer. Frontal Guards and various Super Armors have been removed from the class. 

Musa baby love the in and out gameplay and being able to dip when I need to.

Honestly animation canceling is kinda cheating isnt it?

How is the animation canceling in bdo? How do you do it? Do you think its going to be similar than pc?

No it's not. it can aid in your next rotation or help you on an attempted miss. It can even help your DPS output if you know what you are doing. It's more so used for people who know what they are doing in higher tiers per say, people who have a lot of understanding on there class. When you understand your class to the T, and can animation cancel, it becomes second nature. If it was cheating, most game developers would of probably taken it out of there games.

I can assure you there is many animation cancels in BDO. Just like in most games and MMO's there is some way to animation cancel. In this case many classes have ways to animation cancel. For example, I can switch between weapons on my Berserker fast enough and thats considered animation canceling as i'm quickly pressing the button to end it right before the end of the animation into the next animation. Another example would be when I'd Lava Peircer from a move as i'm running quickly turn or spin into my next one. 

I think at the end of the day it is simply apart of the game.

No, everyone can get used to animation canceling with practice and knowing their class. Its just another mechanic in the game in my opinion. 

In ESO, the devs essentially said animation cancelling was intentionally created as part of the game mechanics. Just takes a bit of practice.

I feel like it just raises the skill cap of the class you can still be good without it but it shows true mastery with it.

Im really good at animation cancelling.

I guess my whole point is why put animations in the game if people are just gonna cancel them. Or just put an option to turn animations off since people won't use them anyway.
