Will we be able to use a keyboard on the Xbox version? I played the pc version for 2 years, and I haven’t played a console game in so long, so I would be more comfortable playing on a keyboard.

Many people on the forums already commented on this and would not play if it existed

If they added keyboard and mouse compatibility to console BDO that would create an unfair advantage for people using controller since on keyboard you have more freedom than you do on a controller, and people transferring from PC would have more experience on keyboard as well as knowledge of the game

If you want to be competitive in pvp at all having keyboard user's in the scene will just ruin the experience if you have a controller. 

Look at it this way PvP doesn't start until level 50 and mobs before level 50 are gravy so you'll have time to get used to it before your life is in any danger

Once again, mind blown... keyboard is so much better for filling out forms, and writing letters, and creating documents, which is what I do at work. Why the f**K would I want to use the same thing in my gaming that use at work? Hell no... 

Think I'd file a lawsuit if they allow kb/m on console... take that s**t back to the pc.

i actual like the gameplay with controller more than with keyboard in bdo even on PC
its easier to combo for me esp with sorc and the overall access to quickslot bar is easier
if you already know what to do with your class the transition to controller takes around a hour until you memorize everything

only down side is the accuracy needed having to target something can be harsh, gota admit im not very good in console fps either
also playing without a chatpad you gona miss a lot of nice conversations..
chatpad is still sold out in my country tho

I don't even understand the mindset behind wanting a keyboard and mouse for xbox. "Here let me plug my awesome keyboard and mouse into my much worse system to play the same game I could play on PC, which runs smoother". The only reason I could think is that you have friends that are only on console, and if thats the case, just use a controller like them and everyone else. Just a mindset I'll never get but its honestly whatever. If people can use kb&m I'll still play, but the integrity of the game will be questionable.

Thats actually what I was thinking, I've always been on the higher tier side of skill in console FPS games, competing in smaller tournaments and stuff. I often find myself to be better than the average player, so even if people are using keyboard, how much of a disadvantage would I really be at? Just because the equipment they are using is better doesn't mean they are. I played Overwatch on PC with a controller for a while and I had no issues keeping up, I just had to recognize my weaknesses and try to avoid getting in those situations.

the whole conversation thing makes sense though, thats always been an issue I've found on xbox games.

    If KB&M Support came to Xbox on this game. 

Can't I just connect keyboard via adapter and map everything ? There are already adapters with full supported softwares.

No. It's against Xbox's CoC currently as there is no official support. Doing so is not allowed. 

They have spoken about KB&M support and Mike Ybarra said it will come to Xbox, but it is not known when or how. He also stressed how it can be seen as unfair. Ultimately, It will be up to developer choice eventually and will be up to PA and other developers to allow it or not. If the developer knows what they are doing, they will obviously say no.

Just listing before, they both fall under the same roof, just like the 3rd party converters. If you are expecting to do this on Xbox, you got another thing coming.

It's the fact there is even an ad or commercial for Xbox Exploits that makes me sick. Why does there even need to be one? Money, and an appeal to cheat and beat others. This is Microsofts fault for not stopping things like this, although PA could ban things like this if they detect it.

The sad thing about detecting these mouse adapters is that big companies like Blizzard weren't even able to figure it out. As a result of this Overwatch's competitive side died on the Oceanic servers because everyone can just buy an adapter and play better than most. It was no longer who had better team work, instead it became who had more mouse users. 

Hopefully BDO will be similar to games like ESO in that having a mouse adapter isn't a significant advantage. The only thing they really do is give better aiming and keyboard inputs, no additional buttons.
