Im going with ultimate. The 90 day tax reduction on market place, 2 additional pets (pc pets are $11ish each). A maid. A horse flute. An outfit (worth atleast $20 on pc). Aswell as a 3 day headstart seem qorth it to me. Im not gonna use all of the stuff, but it comes with $30 and stuff I would be forced to buy anyway. At $100 it seems qorth it. Especially considering I get to hit the soft level cap before anyone who isnt shelling out $100.

After launch. You need to buy the game and then link after March 3rd.

Preordered the Ultimate Edition before the beta. The #1 thing I saw the biggest difference in out of everything, was going from Xbox One to Xbox One X. Damn, was that a shock. Plays and feels so much better, so glad I upgraded my console before the launch.

60 fps non 4k is great. It felt fluid and my major hitch turned out to be intentional. I kicked up my old pc account from 2016 to play on pc during the beta. Man, this is gonna be fun.

About everything that could've gone wrong did and I still want to play it, so I'll be going all in with the ultimate edition. Even knowing we'll lose everything, I got two characters to 40 and leveled a few others a bit as well, I'm hooked it seems

Great visuals, great combat...but...for me, mindless grinding of enemies and Lifeskills isn’t enough. 

I guess i’ve had my fill of lifeskill type stuff and such from games like ESO where it was a grind to level every aspect of your crafts and gear. Amd WoW for 11 years with the different crafting changes and updates, rework, etc. Yeah...nuff of no-llifing Lifeskills, 

And grinding mobs with very little reward after months is really....pointless. Maybe if there was actually more gear or options for the classes, but being locked into weapon types really limits gear variety.

And keeping the AFK functions in the Xbox version really bothered me. Pointless to fish, which I enjoy in MMOs, when I know others are just AFKin. 

I’m sure it will do well on Xbox, hopefully the pearl shop is fair. Maybe I’ll miss it in a month...

Ordered the ultimate as soon we were able to. I know what im getting into so no surprises just control adjustment. Beta ran very smooth for me. Even red battlefield almost full no lag so far. Cant wait till next week

Me (Xbox OG)- sticking with Ultimate, I think, hoping they fix what's obviously subpar for Xbox.  Considering dropping down the the $30 one because the screen going black at camera angles during day and night is such garbage quality control...it's getting harder and harder to justify $100 preorder for this game.  But I've been waiting for a decent MMO for years, so it's hard to resist throwing down for the Ultimate while hoping they fix what's broken and that it'll be an amazing game in a year.

Wife (Xbox S)- totally cancelled preorder due to aforementioned quality issues....which also makes it difficult for me to justify preorder at all if it's just going to be me solo now...

I played the beta found out i really like the controls so hands down the $100 package

new to BDO, can someone explain what benefits i'll get from the following (Deluxe edition):

 60-day Value Pack

a German Shepherd Pet (pre-order exclusive)

a Tier 3 Horse

the Trina Knight Horse Armor

1000 Pearls to use in game

or should i just go ahead and get the standard edition for $30? and save that $20 for something more important to purchase in-game?

The value pack, pearls, pet, and horse armor are worth more than than $20 in game. so personally I would even consider the Ultimate if you are spending $50 because it has a $200 dollars of stuff you will want to buy later. (not just reading the marketing hype as a PC player, I know the Pearl Shop well) But i also know if you just can't afford to go that much into a game you cant. But the value is huge for that package.

I have taken screen shots of all these things inside the live game on PC. I don't expect the prices to change. Pearl to dollar is about 100 peals to $1 USD

Trina Knight sets are discontinued on PC. 

Shudad is Preorder only - and WILL NEVER BE SOLD again. but other costumes will be available 24/7

i put in a griffon pet, i would value the T2 fogan at 2x of those. 

and i put a screen shot for BDO's website were you buy pearls so you can see the quantities.

it makes sense to buy deluxe/ultimate if i'm going to need all of it in-game, because you get all that content for less..

but, are these needed early in the game? i mean, is it like a boosted start to reach soft cap? or i'm going to need them when i reach the soft cap and going further? you're with the experience and may know better..

Pets are vital, they are how you loot, they give bonus stats.

The value pack is something you will come to love having up. Investing in distant nodes (without you have to walk to each node to invest) the buffs, weight, and inventory are amazing too. Plus 90% of us bought it so instead of making 6.75 mil on a 10 mil sale we made 8.45 mil per that 10 mil item from the market.  

the outfit gives extra buffs to combat and skill exp, amity gain, as well as a Change to not lose as much on death if you die to a monster. 

The horse armor, is helpful to leveling horses, and it gives them a passive 1% more move speed.

The wagon is cool but I almost never use wagons once the baby elephant arrives in Valencia. 

I own 19 maids, a mix of market and storage, I find them very useful when grinding or doing things.

horse flute is YOUR best friend. it brings the range from 75 meters to 500 meters you can call your horse. 

Is anything needed no, it's more about quality of life and what you want to put up with. do they all help? oh heck yes! Everything in these bundles are useful and helpful. You will just want to figure out what you value the game/time investment and go from that decision. Will you play this for 100 hrs? if so that's a dollar an hour for 100 hours of fun.

 awesome, enjoy!  Plus the ultimate if you played beta, and reached 30 when you start you will now have 4 pets if you link your account, get the beta pet, and the 2x from ultimate. THAT'S BIG, I had like a dog for 2 months when BDO launched on PC, then I learned about what 3 pets could do.
