So I read the lore of the Lahn class and I have to say I'm bothered by the fact that the Lahn in the lore is a psychotic, innocent-killing villain and if the Lahn in the lore is the same one as the one you play, does that mean all along we've been playing as a villain? To be honest, I'm more into playing actual heroes in games and playing as someone that villainous does give me quite the guilt trip. Also, if they are the same person, does this mean all the class's Awakening lore characters are actually the playable characters? 

This game isnt about heroes and villains. Its about classes and the sandbox world we play in. I don't think one person plays lahn for her lore, 99.99% 's first thoughts are "omg female Kratos", and then the next is "holy sh** she can fly" . 

One person in your fighting style's past that was a homocidal maniac does't mean your character is one in that sense.i'm checiing out the lahn for her flying ability lol no lore going to stop me.???

In a game where at almost any time we can kill each other just for grinding in a spot i don't really think morals matter. As interesting as the lore is on a simple note it do's not matter in the slightest.

I fell in love with the Lahn for neither reason. She reminded me of the Reaper in Tera and i loved that class

Almost noone even reads the wuest dialogue much less knows the lore.. who cares. If your into RP be a good RPer and make your own backstory how shes reformed or something ?????

see you are the .01% ? but as the joke probably blows by most, she stands on her own for her abilities and movement. I could see the Reaper, I personally don't have much experience with Tera, played a few classes for fun for a while, but never dug deep into tera.

Tera was fun for a while on pc, they ruined it on xbox. Reaper was a mobile fun mid range melee class but started at 56 and max level was 65 so it gave a small window to learn the class. Most players were just button smashers and the class got a bad rep, but for those few of us who took the time to learn the class she was very deadly.

This is how i see the lahn. A class that many say is underwhelming and is overlooked, but i find to be very enjoyable when u take the time to master it.

thats awesome if i get bored ill go check her out, i fell in love with valkyrie on Tera and couldnt do anything else

Agree, a little underwhelming, but ive seen some guys shred some top siege guild Mystics with a combo. She has to engage on her terms or she pops if she cant get away. With having my ranger and wizard fully geared and Archer tugging on me to play i just couldnt pull myself to personally invest into Lahn. She's hot, has lot of awesome looking skills. and can freaking fly (every 60 seconds) . 

One would think in the modern era that the term MMORPG has the words Role playing in them. These games are designed for you to play your character how you want. Yeah the Lahn is a killer, sweet. Doesnt mean she cant reform, sell her skills, use them for good, be a bodyguard to a guild leader etc.

Look at movies...uh Blade immediately comes to mind. He is a killer but uses his skills for good not evil(just a basic example). So the lore in just part of the story, you as a player need to keep writing the story

Ive always loved the less desirable classes, the high skill ceiling classes, the ones that make u put in the effort to be good. When i hear that a class sucks and u shouldnt play it all i can say is Hold my Beer. Thats why i love sorc and lahn so much.

Plus the upside to playing less desired classes is that minimal people put in time and effort on guides and videos so when u come across someone dangerous in pvp there are no guides to fall back on to learn what skills and combos will be used in each scenerio

Well when you put it that way, yeah, I can totally justify playing her now. Though I still don't know if the lore of each class's awakening is tied to the actual character and not some other NPC version of their class.

 I know exactly what you are talking about i've met tamers that put the fear of God in me, I've see a sorc 60-100GS lower than me hold her own and actually kill me, i've had the over confident challenge me only to be sent to jail with 3 skills. 

The thing i always want to drive home is play what you want. It's the most important thing to keep you happy and healthy in BDO.

Absolutely.  As i tell people thinking about BDO, there are 1001 ways you can play the game and each one works if it works for you. If your having fun then your not losing out.
