So I'm looking at getting the game and have couple of questions. First for each class are you able to customize your toon or is each toon a preset? 2nd what would be the best way to meet ppl and looking for a guild. I'm 45 and spent 12 years on WoW and need a change. Thank you for looking at my post and hopefully get some feed back.

You can customize each toon but you can not change their gender. Best way would be under guild recruitment posts. I have a guild for BDO open to newcomers if you are interested.

Also something I forgot to mention is that BDO has one of the most in depth character creation customization system I've ever seen.

 You will be amazed and horrified at how crazy the customization is for every character. Keep in mind the Koreans didn't give you unlimited power to make say a 4 foot 1 inch fat warrior with a 1600's monk hair cut or a 7 foot tall witch with a chest the size of basketballs. You can make some beautiful girls and some very good looking guys in this. Some classes have restrictions on body mass, or hair customization (look at you archer). Not every body or face will edit the same, but the options you do have the customization you do have is amazing, "almost" as good as a modded Skyrim, minus being able to cherry pick everything from your mods. (ALSO side note it's against ToS to mod BD)

For guild recruitment a lot of people on PC don't use the forms to join guilds, a lot look for people in server/world chat. Im not sure if all the current Guild rules are in place from BDO (PC),  might could help us with this, if he has the time. But from looking at the guild page on BDX it looks to be a older model so maybe the rules aren't like they are currently. Like making personal money with guild quests, accelerated guild exp and silver (5x), 31 member guilds can payout, the apprentice system (prevents from getting payouts with in the time limit). I did see you could give the 365 day contract so that is a "newer" change. Try to find a group that truly wants to help you, and watch you grow, if the guild isn't want you want, leave, wait the 24hr cooldown, and try another. If you out grow that guild let them know, join a more competitive guild. I'd love nothing more if my guild wasn't a top siege guild to hear a player say they are going to leave for the major siege guilds. That means I accomplished what I wanted, help bring group of people together and let everyone teach and learn from everyone.
