My questions not much. I just want to know, has anyone found confirmation that AFK farming will be a thing in the Xbox One version of Black Desert. If it is I don't want the game, I'm not going to abuse my console (which I know isn't designed to run 24/7) for a grind fest game. I want to play a game when I buy it, not pay to destroy my console. I understand why this is a thing on PC and that is fine. What I need to know is if its a thing for Xbox One or if they were smart enough to remove it as part of the game before dropping it on the console?

don't think they've changed anything in terms of afk mechanics for the console, but say it's a thing they're "keeping an eye on"

U can afk fish and afk auto loop so i dont see why not. As for the grind fest, no one says u have to do it or do it 24/7 to enjoy the game. 

As for a console running 24/7. I left my OG xbox on 24/7 for nearly 8 months before we had a storm and i turned it off. Never had an issue with it. As long as you keep good ventilation, occasionally spray it with canned air to get rid of the dust, and if u are really concerned then turn it off for an hour a day for it to rest

I specifically checked the temp of my One X after playing for over 3 hours today. She was quiet as a mouse and just warm enough to feel comfy.  And that was with me actually playing, fighting mobs in an over-crowded starting camp on day 1. 

If she handles that fine I imagine AFK fishing while my workers do their thing should be ok. I feel much better about that prospect now. ??
