You might have noticed that the forums are a bit chaotic in the past 24 hours. We don't know yet what to expect in “Into the Abyss” but we do know there's another DELAY.

Every company works hard to preserve clients since its cost efficient and even though the product isn't out yet, we the members are potential returning clients.

As a representative of PA on the xbox community, I'd like you to convey a message to the relevant people, from the community - "We are disappointed".

BDO is a game that is very influenced by time investment and in-game purchases - Mostly to make life easier in-game (pets, maids, weight, inventory space etc). We are deprived of that "Time".

I believe that a compensation in the form of *meaningful discounts at launch, for in-game purchases would be fitting to ensure PA keeps their xbox community. I'm certain it would also attract new clients.

Dont settle for less of a game for discounts.. demand they game actually have the content required to enjoy it.. trust me when i tell you bdo isnt worth it stripped down and vanilla as there making it. Also they give discounts like this on pc all the time.. so atleast shoot for higher.. like 3-4 pets on loyalty rewards first month and extra hard and sharps lol. Meme frags each day.. etc etc 

Maybe even a whole thankyou package if you play beta or were on forums from a certain date.. like it could include a pet, weight increase, inventory expansion, storage space, mounts etc etc...

theres gotta be some sort of concern for showing content that wont even be in the game at launch and 5 different release dates.

Well you can't ask for too much cause that'll be irrational. I know we're angry but if we over shoot they'd ignore this suggestion completely.

WE DO NEED TO BE COMPENSATED , within reason tho. Playing beta should earn you at best a title, you're there to help the team fix bugs.

But yea a fat goodie package sounds good.

This game, compared to any other MMORPG released on xbox, has the longest release delay of them all. im entitled to whine and to have (low) expectations. Thank you for sharing your opinion though.

Because the advertised it with more classes, awakenings and map areas that won't even be in the game at launch.

You're not entitled to anything. You've done nothing to earn it.

No, you assumed it. If you had done a little research into how this game has launched in every other region then you would have realized what was coming.

A. While I may not be "entitled" to anything, neither is PA. So I'll continue to hold them accountable until they decide to re-earn my trust.

B. I do agree that you can't assume what you see in promotional videos will be in the game, some content is delayed. Every game does that, not just PA. Now, if they never release what they show, that's a different story.

It's called false advertisement. You're essentially a consumer who's being offered a product, a product that has been publicly stated to be released at a general point which they failed to stand by. in some countries its even illegal to practice false advertising.

So at the very least I'm "entitled" to show my dissatisfaction and propose a logical suggestion. 

I can understand your point of view though and its a very naive one, your'e treating it like a game and not a product.   

Disclaimer: I'm not in anyway suggest that what PA doing is illegal. I understand that nothing can be set in stone and issues could arise during work on the release. but the backlash is coming from an unexpected announcement and a failure to communicate with us on that matter.

I do like the suggestion u made there  for some reason I want to give them a personal time limit till September latest October than I'd start to loose my interest in this project as I'm right now holding my self from any games to be devoted to even as to not playing BDO on the RU servers as I don't have the motivation to do so for I'm waiting on the Beta here ... I think they might do a discount for the pearl shop anyways on the official launch as to attract new players anyway's the only thing I'd like to have tho for them who are going to be in Beta playing and sniffing out Bug's to have a really good discount buying pearls as they or most at least will be the once simultaneously not only playing the game and seeking for bugs but as well promoting the game as I presume there going to be some or a good variety of streamers playing it. But part from that I do like your idea but for different reasons as waiting for a game for me is not a big problem it all depends on how long I have to wait for it ...
