I’ve played a lot of MMO’s in my time but not for several years.

In past games I’ve dabbled a little in crafting but mainly I’ve enjoyed hitting things a lot more.

However in this game I started Friday and I am still only level 14 due to playing the Life Skills and I am enjoying them so much I think that might be my main time sink on the game.

Anyone else a fellow Life Skiller who just enjoys making things?

It is like you crawled into my mind and wrote my thoughts, other than the “enjoyed hitting stuff more” part! I have always enjoyed crafting more than anything in my MMORPGs but the level of detail on this one is just blowing me away! I myself am still not level 20 because I’ve been too busy cooking, doing life skill quest lines, and trading.

And I was on at 3 AM Friday with the very first players!

I’m right there with you buddy!

Literally there is always something to do!  Not once have I logged in yet and wondered what can I do?

I’m either fishing or mining ?  not dabbled in cooking yet.

Not to forget the whole Trade skill!

Yep!

For somebody who plays like I do the game will never actually run out of content. The fun part is that I actually do want to go level up, experience The PVE and PVP, and explore the world. I’m just gonna take a hell of a lot longer to get around to all of that

Wow, am I talking to myself from like six years ago? LOL

My daughter is turning 13, my son is turning 11, and of course my wife likes to use the television sometimes! So this works out pretty well for me too. I’m actually considering getting an HDMI splitter, 10 foot cable, and a small portable high DEF TV so that I can play “off screen” and still participate in our normal television viewing with my wife. ??

Life skills are the only part of the game where p2w doesn’t have to ruin your experience. Even then, you’ll find horse training to be the only worthwhile AFK/Overnight life skill without buying inventory, costumes etc etc

My eldest daughter is 6 she plays xbox as well and I’ve just bought the base game for her so she can play she likes the horse riding so I’ll have her doing trade runs for me and just hope she doesn’t run the horse and wagon off a cliff ?

Solid parenting!  ??

Got my daughter into Pokémon when she was very young, and then Fantasy Life, Don’t Starve, etc.

Son is, surprise, into Fortnite/Minecraft/Roblox but also likes Diablo 3, played some MHW with me, and might try out BDX. ??
