I was lvl 53 at the time and a friend of mine that just started lvl 31, we started a party to find each other locations. After 2-3 hours of hunting mobs we realized neither of us were getting any drops.

Unless this is already a thing and i missed it, i feel it would be useful if a warning was shown before joining a party with a 10 level difference between the lowest and highest player that clearly states you will not get any Item drops if the player is 10 levels or more above.?

If you are in the group with a player that is 10 levels below you. And open the party settings menu it says at the top of the screen that you can't get items.

Yup this is how we found out in the end. That was what got us thinking that a general pop up could be a better thing. Just a small suggestion, i know it's nothing major.

Has anyone else done what I did and invited someone to a party and closed the party settings menu without spotting it?

That explains why I got no drops last night when my guild killed 4000 giants
