So I've noticed screen tearing and I've used two different tvs and still Have it any others have confirmed it too. I know screen tearing can be fixed with a vertical sync option. Will we ever get that for xbox like they have for PC?

PA is aware of the request, and in all honesty it’s an issue but affects each of us different based on our tolerance for seeing it.
I would imagine it’s not high on the priority list when weighed against game-stopping buys and new content roll outs. Here’s hoping we get it someday! ??
To tell the truth it's not so hard.
Witcher 3 fixed this issue in 2 weeks after release and it made a big difference

I know it’s not hard, I’m saying that when some players can’t see all their screen because it’s not alligned to their display area right or a moving cursor is causing people to acidebtky delete items...those take priority. ??
I noticed screen tearing also, but when I changed my settings from 4k to 1080p 120hz, I haven't seen any. Mind you that requires a 120hz TV and a xbox x.
I have same issue too. I curious about if it can be solved with freesync monitor?

On the One X if you turn off “Ultra” HD (as you have) you almost never see the tearing, you have to look for it, and FPS is drastically improved.
But...it’s SO much prettier the other way! ??

Well it depends on what TV you have and how close you are. I have a 55 inch oled and I sit about 8 feet away, it is almost impossible to see 4k over 1080, unless you got that eagle vision. At 3 feet I can tell, so in order for me to notice what you're talking about I would need a 85 inch TV. Which is like 8000 dollars Haha, so I am not gonna dump that much to see 4k. Even a 75 inch TV one would have to be within 5 feet to tell the difference between 4k and 1080. So the only way that looks better at 4k over 1080 60 to 120 fps is if you have a huge TV, or sit really close to the tv. Minus one thing if you like hdr over full rgb. Because in black desert for some reason it wont turn hdr on if you are at 1080. I personally think hdr looks bad compared to full rgb, but that also depends on your TV, with some that cant do full color rgb.
The other factor there is it depends on your TV, with most TVs besides top end Sony, lg oled, and some top end Samsung's if you play 1080 content it try's to upscale it, and it looks like garbage, over a native 1080 TV. Example is a vizio p 2016 TV I had it legit looked like trash at 1080. So if you took a native 1080 TV a low end 4k TV and u put them side by side 75 inches at 8 feet, the 1080 tv would look way better. If you put the 4k TV to a 4k, the 1080 would still look better because it would be doing 60 fps, and you wouldnt be able to see the 4k quality at 8 feet. If you got within 4 to 5 feet of it, the 4k would be sharper.
What is easy to notice at any distance is 30 vs 60 fps, oled vs led, and the response time of TVs. With anything above 20ms as being easy to see its problems, especially if the input lag of the TV is over 20ms.
We're aware of the screen tearing and are looking into getting it fixed.

It maybe in my head, I didnt record for proof so take it with a grain of salt as they say. I bought a scan disk 250gb 500mbs portable USB 3 ssd on sale today, and moved black desert to it and it doesnt seem to be having tearing. I always noticed it at hidel, doesnt seem to be there anymore. Makes no sense though if that is ture.
