Quick question:

Sitting on lunch at work and a question crossed my mind. I've heard "item breakage" mentioned several times and I know xp loss is a thing...but what is the specific penalty for deaths?

- Environmental? (Falling)

- PVE

-PVP

From what I know, dying to mobs will decrease xp, being negative karma and dying to mobs has a chance to decrease enhancement level and not too sure about falling.

 So the first time I died to a NPC one of the trade items in my inventory broke. Was curious about that mechanic. And it like broke as in go on, and out of my inventory. 

You also have a chance of a crystal breaking if you die in love. At this point in the game a crystal breaking and/or a 1% xp loss isn't a big deal but later on when crystals cost millions and 1% xp is hours of grinding that loss will become painful........but at that point quest mobs shouldn't be killing you. This system along with saving travel time is why a lot of people will make a boss alt or two

simple, death by fall had not lost anything, death by mob, if you have crystals in items have chance of crystals break, if not have items can be broken, if items are up EXP: pri, duo and tri, can lose 1 enhancement from tri to duo. and if you are negative karma any death will result in loss of xp and items

I lost 5 crystal in 1 death today.
