I rather like RP in games like this I was wondering if there was an unofficial RP server or possibly an RP guild out there?

 Unfortunately I don’t think there will ever be an official role-play server, as for an unofficial one? I love the idea as a role player myself but I think that their amazing one world “open server“ system will ultimately not allow it to happen. 

 Stay with me here: from my past experiences in many other MMORPGs the only way I’ve seen a RP server ever actually works is if there’s some sort of enforcement. Mutually agreeing that we will all role-play on one server can have its benefits, but due to the nature of our ability to jump servers whenever we want I don’t see it being sustainable. I think the better route would be to find a guild that participates in role-play.

On pc theres a role play chat channel and also a dedicated role play server. Not that its any different just where all the rpers hang out. Get a discord going my man and set yourself up a server yall all meet on. Just dont leave town (;

so, what's your definition of RP? do you just hang out together? go chopping wood together? what is exactly RP?

Can’t speak for OP but for me RP has always been speaking “in character”, usually through in game chat and emotes, as well as through actions. Like in some other games taking the ship to travel rather then teleporting and having events in town that other players can watch/participate in. Often players have backgrounds for their characters, motivations, fears, hopes, wishes. 

Like maybe your character lost their family to Fogin and has to try to kill them all...even won’t associate with those who have a pet one. Something like that is a simple example. It’s just like playing a good game of D&D: you might spend an entire session in one spot not even figting or “progressing” in the general sense but you come away with an experience and memories of a good time you never loose! ??

Is this guild still up???
