My console just popped up a warning that it was running low on system resources and that I should restart or risk poor performance.
Console is an old Xbox One from before the slim, if the message appears again I'll try to remember to snap a shot of it with my phone.
The game didn't crash or anything, the system just seems to be worried or something. --Momentai :3
Edit: just appeared again.
Edit2: Game finally buzz crashed back to dashboard.

No it's not. As long as the game is advertised for my console it needs to work, that or the devs need to make it clear that older Xbox consoles are not supported. --Momentai ;3
How much free space do you have?
Ate you running multiple apps?
Have you tried a shutdown, unlplug, wait, reboot?

12GB of HD space, I close any app or game when I'm done with it, and I constantly clear my cache.
Haven't gotten the warning since the crash occurred, might have been a one time thing. Even so it could end up being a problem. --Momentai :3
I think original xbox is not releasing anymore and it was a trash machine to be honest.
The standar xbox now is the xbox s which has a slight faster cpu but again it's not worth it just get an xbox x you will not be dissapointed.
As for your problem try to free up more hard disc space.
And always shutdown without instant on function.
Maybe buy an external ssd as well
I got the the Samsung t5 it's super fast with loading screens.
Both hard disc's of xbox original and X are trash. They are only 5200rpm disc's that you find on laptops 14 years ago!
Or be patient for xbox 2 which is gonna be a big deal if they manage to pull out 4k native 4k assets and 60 fps.
I have 2 XB1s: 1 XB1S and 1 XB1X (with a 1TB SSD). I get this message on the S but not on the X. BOTH crash for the exact same reason. The more traveling I do the higher the chance. I afk on the S all night, every night with no crashes. It's only when I am playing through many different areas that it crashes and it WILL crash always. There is definitely a memory leak somewhere. I also do not "shut down" my XB. Those of you that use the energy save feature will be less likely to run into this.

This is common and normal. Nothing is wrong with your Xbox. This happens when you play the game for a really long time and you do not restart it.
( it is when your Xbox’s Ram is running low and you need to clear it. Nothing to do with storage .)
To to fix this; Close your game, power off your Xbox and wait 30 seconds. Unplug the power cord then hold the power button for five seconds. Turn the Xbox on and launch your game and enjoy your game play
