I died while trying to complete Al Rhundi quest. When I revived and went back the summon scroll was no longer in my inventory. I have read to forfeit the quest but that is not an option to choose. What do I have to do?

Was it the daily quest or the story quest? If its the daily quest, then the scroll is consumed and you can try the next day. IF it is the story quest, the forfeit method should work

It is the story quest. I see on other quests that it gives you the forfeit option but this one doesn't. It has the black spirit come on, has everything telling you to summon, shows you where to go to summon, but when I open my inventory, no scroll. Not sure what is happening.

You gotta open your quest menu with LT + down on the d-pad and forfeit the quest that way. Then talk to the black spirit again to get the new scroll.
