My gf and I both play this game on xbox and we have both experienced this issue. It only seems to happen to one of us though.

When we log on, one of us will take significantly longer to select our character (cuz of the game not us waiting) and then it will go to the black spirit loading screen. The game loads fine but when we try to talk to an npc or open a menu, the sound queue goes off but nothing happens. We can't really do anything. Note: this will happen even when only one of us is trying to play, and the other is working or doing something else. 

We are both really upset with this because we would love to play this game together. We both got the ultimate edition too so all of that time based stuff has been going to waste because we can't actually play.

Please help!
