Why do a few people continue to cry about this. Did you guys not look into what BDO has been for the last few years on PC? 

You guys cry like you can't take one step out of a safe zone. Are you that carebear and scared to go out in the world? I'm literally on CONSTANTLY (many different servers too) and don't see this threat/problem you are crying about. I'm always all over the map in different places. 

Maybe if you are at a specific grind spot, but most stick to their rotation and mind their own business. 

This leads me to believe you guys are the ones causing the problems. You probably show up to a spot trying to take it and get killed because of it. This isn't WoW and can't be selfish without consequences. 

Fyi, theres lots of servers you can switch to. Check the area and see whos around. Dead bodies are usually a dead give away someone is there. Don't just start killing stuff. Most the time you can ask to group and join up with people. I've seen randoms protect peoples horses numerous times.

As a non PvPer i can say that so far i have not been griefed, ganked or otherwise my 1 death was even my own fault (low health  and walked into range of someones rotation

There seems to be a voluntry code of conduct from most of the pvp players apart from the few trolls that enjoy spoiling others game time 

Most pvp people I run into in the wild grinding have been relatively courteous.

I try to see if mobs are up in numbers before i jump in and change parts if i see questers out there. 

My only issue with pvp is the loud people in chat. I dont grudge the people who blind side me on a road, this game gives fun to people in different ways.

PC experts are brow beating the new console people, remember we need them to pay their rent to keep the lights on too. Courtesy goes a long way in this game.

There is enough non pvp content to keep people busy for years without killing others. Everyone enjoy the freedom this game gives.

Other then the unnecessary name calling I actually agree with you!

Yesterday was my first time being attacked, my flag was down, and it was due to me killing Mobs that a sorc was grinding.  I fought back and almost won (game froze and I despawned) but even if I had lost I would have been fine.  It was fun, I held my own, and there was a reason for the attack...it wasn't just attacking to attack.

Oh and I've been over 50 for weeks...again first time.  As the world gets bigger this is going to be less and less of an issue.

Wholeheartedly agree with the content of this post. This game was always meant to be a pvp game for guilds to mess around in and create a story for the game. The people coming in expecting a handheld story and troves of pve content will be disappointed. 

edit: a better title for this game would have been guild wars.. oh wait ?

That was months of playtime, maybe years if you count skill training all lost in an instant. Kinda hard to complain about having to respawn nearby with everything just fine.

Maybe do the actual pvp modes/events in the game. Leave a safe zone other than afk stuff...maybe?   

Don't base your pvp experince those couple times you got killed while afk. I highly doubt it was more than a couple times. People aren't waiting at edges of zones to grief players for days/months. Heck ...if they are you need to change server. 

Forced PvP to me isn't an issue at all especially since you can simply get away and escape to ensure you won't have any penalties. The only thing that bothers me is when I'm AFK training my horse and someone just randomly kills me; like damn they must be desperate.
