Hiding your name is not p2w. The moment they kill u you know their name.

Unfair pvp advantage. How because u dont see a name right next to you before they attack. How is that any different then seeing a name. U dont know if someone is gonna attack until they do.

Finally, u still see them on mini map, and pets still proc enemy player even in the suit.

Also.....just because..... there are flares in the game that counter the suits effects. Just saying.

It falls under pay to convinience.

Someone can spend 2k on the game and still bomb a TET or PEN attempt and be with those at TRI that put 0 into the game. As for the guillie the name/guild hiding is irrelevant do a little research on the player, who they are around, and plan accordingly. As for the +1 gather even though it wasn't addressed, buy some Silver Embroiderd Gather Clothes.

But in future you will sea lots of better pearl shop excusive staff . Like

tent (set up tent in any place you want , unlimited use of repair,sale,buff form villas (Valencia)

Life skill suits faster cooking ,alchemy, fishing, processing  all life skill suits are pearl shop only

Branding of items (slower durability reduction)

re rolling skills of your horse

and many many more ...

I don't think this suit is p2w but the game is totally pay to win.  If I had $1000 to spend on the pearl store, I would buy the most expensive things and put them on the CM.  I would then have LOADS of in game silver with which I would just buy the best items in the game.  How is that not p2w?  Don't get me wrong, I love this game but someone with unlimited money to waste could just buy their way up to top tier everything.  Sure there is a translation and you can't buy the ultimate staff of killing everything for $300 directly but you can indirectly do that by selling pearl items and then just buying it in game.  That is the very definition of p2w. 

Well at current prices its $1 per 1M. Costumes and pets are the best chance for fast sale. Base kzarka will run u $250 then u have to enhance it yourself. You have to wait for sharps or farm yourself, and u could fail enhancements over and over. U could drop $5000 and never make it to tri. Yes cron stones to protect it but with cron stones your fail stack doesnt increase. Rng plays a factor still so its not straight p2w right now. Maybe a year or 2 when PEN items are sitting on the market and someone could buy a full PEN set u could argue it.

All that aside, the guile suit hides your name and give +1gathering. Hiding your name is not p2w. And u get a free +1 gathering suit from the game for leveling gathering.

I remember when the ghillie suit came out on the PC and everyone was arguing if it made the game P2W or not. Then they introduced the feature that allowed whales to sell items on the marketplace and it became obvious. Artisan's memory, cron stones, the tent, valks' cry, the ability to melt outfits, and the list goes on. The whole pay for convenience thing is a meme and anyone who says otherwise is either in denial or completely indoctrinated.

Being P2W doesn't make the game any less enjoyable for me, but I can see how it's discouraging to other players.

I played on pc as well . And totally agree with this statement , anyone arguing that players do not swipe to win are delusional . Sale costumes on market is fastest way to progress in game ATM .

Totally agree.  I'm crazed over this game.  I bought a second xbox just to afk...soooo...I have no room to talk.  Star Trek Online and Neverwinter have similar store to in game conversions.  I've played STO for 10 years mainly because of this feature.  I think it's brilliant and honestly, if someone wants to spend 5k to get better gear...have at it.  I bought the Lahn, DK, and Striker outfits, the crow, and a horse whistle all with in game silver.  Someone paid $30 and got my 30 mil for the costume.  Maybe they were saving up for a weapon so they could lay the smack down on me and I funded it...so be it.

also +1 gathering isn't even OP you can easily get level 5 gathering just buy upgrading a silver embroider gatherers clothes to like a +2 or a +3 and cook grain soup for +1 and use workers elixers that's what I do and I get level 4 gathering all without a ghillie suit. Same goes for all the other costumes. The silver embroided clothes are just as "OP" as the costumes and even give exp also. Also if you have a pet that has the gathering skill that also helps lmao so there are plenty of avenues for uping your gathering level as well as any other lifeskill without spending money. And the only thing truly p2w in this game is artisan memories that's really it. And honestly the silver to $ ratio is so bad I don't see why anyone would want to spend thousands of dollars to get maybe 500m gold to buy literally 1 OP item out of the 7+ things you have to buy for your characters lol

i also made a calculation. If someone was to spend $1000 on costumes /outfits each outfit roughly costs $30-35. They would be able to buy around 33 outfits for $1000. Roughly each outfit costs around 25-28m if they sold all 33 they would only make 954m that's enough to buy ONE Tet Ogre ring. So that's not even including earrings, armor piece, mainhand and offhand weapons, rings, boots, helmets and gloves that they have to sell more outfits just to get. An then on top of that they still have to WAIT for someone to even post that stuff on the market for them to even buy! So while they are waiting for weeks to get gear on the market place you are out actively playing the game and grinding and could essentially be where they are or more than likely AHEAD of them because you aren't  sitting around all year hoping someone posts OP gear for you for YOUR class. And honestly if I'm paying money I would like to have some sort of advantage in the game in my honest opinion. So essentially it's maybe pay2slightadvantage but never actually win lmao

Before I played I kinda thought money might give a slight advantage over those with time. After playing, I realize no-lifers have a MASSIVE advantage over those with money & limited time. If you permanently have both, well, you have the best advantage but certainly doesn't mean you will win...rng always wins.

So my opinion is that this game is p2w and here is why:

I get twice as much exp.

I get more loot.

My pets gather loot a lot faster so I get a lot more money.

My energy regenerates a lot faster.

I get  a lot more money from cm.

When you spend 400m upgrading kzarka I use 100m.

I have more energy with more character slots.

My horse has the skills I want and I dont have to spend time to train those.

And if I ever want to take a swim I swim a lot faster than you!

And im not even mentioning the ppl who spend 10 000€ to the game. Oh now I did.

Q: Isnt that just pay to progress faster and not p2w.

A: I progress so much faster than you that when you are 400gs 57lvl I have huge advantage if Im lets say 450gs 59lvl. So Im progressing so much faster that I win.

A: I can buy 15 pets in minutes while you have to wait who knows how long to buy those one by one from cm. There is small chance to get BOC or KB from market but... yeah.
